Welcome to part three of the let’s talk about.. series where I talk about topics that come up in books I read. Today I have a treat for you, or at least something I consider a treat because this book I want to talk about today is one of the best if not the best that I’ve read this far. We’re going to dive into topics such as the power of being a woman, motherhood and finding your own voice. I found all of these topics to have a big role in the story and even though it’s based on mythology and ancient greek, the author brings everything in life in a way that fits perfectly in the minds of a modern-day reader. The book I’m talking about is of course Circe by Madeline Miller.
How has your week been? Last week I was sick with the flu unfortunately and didn’t have the energy to post anything here. But this week I’ve been able to leave it all behind and find time for other things than just laying in bed and recharging to be able to go to work.
It’s the end of September, can you believe it? Even though it’s crazy to think that 3/4 of this year is behind, I’m quite ready to move on to the last quarter. Bring in the cold weather, hot chocolate and snuggling under a blanket at home!
I have a question for you; how do you take time for yourself? Or do you even get a feeling of needing it? I’ve made a change in my own life in regards to this subject and I wanted to talk a little bit about it with you all. And share some podcast recommendations I’ve been loving recently.
There are many things that remind us of our childhoods. Smells, tastes, feelings.. There is a lot and we might forget about some of them until we find ourselves in situations that bring back those memories. I find those moment really special. Especially because often those moments come out of nowhere when you’re least expecting them.
Hi, how are you doing?
I’ve been working on a night time routine for quite a while now and I thought it would be nice to share it with you. This is definitely something I’ve struggled with a lot in the past and it’s still hard work to keep it going but so so worth it! The reason I wanted to create a routine for the evening/ night time is to have more control over the amount and quality of sleep hours at night.
Well hello everyone! It’s September already, can you believe it? And we are back.
September is the real start of Autumn. Schools have begun and summer holidays are behind. Everything starts changing little at a time to get ready for the coming winter.
